Normally when you copy and paste your formula down or when you drag the fill handle down in a cell that containing a formula it pastes the formula keeping the column letter same. Split panes to lock rows or columns in separate worksheet areas. If you want to apply the formula to entire row just enter the formula into the first cell of your entire row next select the entire row and then click Home Fill Right.
