I am a huge fan of INDEX MATCH combo and I have made it pretty clear many times. Cut the MATCH formula for Height and replace the 2 with it. Below is a short video tutorial on how to combine the two functions and effectively use Index Match in Excel.
I can separate the ROW part out into a separate column and refer to it indirectly there but is it possible to combine it into the original formula.
The result is an INDEX MATCH formula. The INDEX function below returns a specific value in a one-dimensional range. Have managed to get a bit further since posting this question. This is because INDEX and MATCH is incredibly flexible you can do horizontal and vertical lookups 2-way lookups left lookups case-sensitive lookups and even lookups based on multiple criteria.
